  4. They may make you laugh, but some of these make my blood boil! Maybe it's because I'm a guy :) Obviously, I don't go around the internet searching for hijab related pictures, but I simply find it breathtaking that there are people this superficial and judgemental in this world. Oh well, probably best to laugh it off! :)

  5. LOL. Thanks for your comment, Rehan! So glad there's a male out there who sees the folly in these images! It used to make my blood boil for a long, long time - now I just laugh it off :| The only way to deal with it for me, really.

There should be one in which a hijabi girl tells all non-hijabis that it's her "Islamic duty" to tell them to cover their heads because, obviously, the *only* reason a woman could possibly not cover her head is that she's ignorant of the fact that not covering her head would get her raped. Or that it's an Islamic "obligation" to cover your head. I come across so many such girls/women, and each time, I find myself reminding them there are more than plenty of reasons why a woman wouldn't cover her head. Still, they insist it's their obligation to tell her she HAS to :|

  10. quite interesting that you pointed out to all man-made ads and photos and comments that promote and support Hijab and you ''managed'' to mock at each one quite nicely. Since you are so sharp, please make your best possible ''comment'' on one and only advise (or ad if you wish to call it) that was sent to us humans, not by any man but by mine and yours and everybody's CREATOR (plese try in your mind to spell this first..(I double dare ya!) ..C R E A T O R (without whom your mommy and daddy could have had sex forever and you would have not been conceived, or worse case scenario..if it was his will you could have been born stillborn...anyways too many options..and yet you turned out healthy (or did you? since you show this much ''gratefulness''..anyways..read the verse and dare to mock it, go right ahead... ''Tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to draw their cloaks (veils) over their bodies (when outdoors). That is most convenient that they should be known and not molested." [Noble Quran 33:59]

    1. I'm very sorry to know that you missed the point of the post, which fortunately everyone else got. I'm also terribly sorry that you believe there's one translation for the Qur'an; little knowledge can be and always has been a dangerous thing. But I'm not sorry that this post clearly offended you to the point of making you speak the way you did. I wish you well in life!

But alf shukr for your visit and comment!

  11. I have no problem if women want to wear hijab or casual or maybe sexy, its their choice i respect and i will not harass but my problem is - most hijab women always dislike and even get mad if men see a women who dressed sexy (even if the girl not in bikini) but they themselves feel free and even fine to see the exact same thing even if more worse - men wear underwear only (bodybuilder, or male swimmer), that piss me off, that's double standard! hijab can complain if men see just little skin of female but they feel okey to see men even wear underwear only at public? (bodybuilder etc), thats hypocrite in my opinion

They have this courage because they know usually muslim society will fine with their double standard but honestly they can't do that, it look like they are selfish

    1. Yeah, objectifying others is unacceptable regardless of which gender is doing it to whom. Agreed that double standards need to be rid of.

  12. Thank you for sharing these! Some say that to wear hijab or niqab to appear pious is hypocrisy if it is not done from the heart, others say that even if it is just done to protect others from having evil thoughts, that this is reason enough to cover up. To me, it is truly offensive for someone to tell a stranger how to cover herself, as if she has no conscience, and no family to encourage her modesty. It is enough to notice and address one's own faults; I don't see how anyone has so few faults that he or she can walk around bringing attention to the perceived faults of others!
